I Caught A Little Ladybird
I caught a little ladybird
That flies far away;
I caught a little lady wife
That is both staid and gay.
Come back, my scarlet ladybird,
Back from far away;
I weary of my dolly wife,
My wife that cannot play.

Rickshaw
barrow, buggy, curricle,
dolly, dray, gig, gurney,
handcart, palanquin, pushcart,
tilbury, truck, tumbrel, two-wheeler,
wagon,
stop in there
there is this red wheelbarrow
and it looks like
a poem to me.

Love
Nothing but just that..
Coupled couple to produce somebody
And it does exit
When worn out a body
But it does resuscitate
Blossoming over a throne-alive dolly
To foster it in benign heart
Mercifully to raise hopefully
To say love is that

The Doll Upon The Topmost Bough
This doll upon the topmost bough,
This playmate-gift, in Christmas dress,
Was taken down and brought to me
One sleety night most comfortless.
Her hair was gold, her dolly-sash
Was gray brocade, most good to see.
The dear toy laughed, and I forgot
The ill the new year promised me.

The Quilting
DOLLY sits a-quilting by her mother, stitch by stich,
Gracious, how my pulses throb, how my fingers itch,
While I note her dainty waist and her slender hand,
As she matches this and that, she stitches strand by strand.
And I long to tell her Life's a quilt and I'm a patch;
Love will do the stitching if she'll only be my match.

Sour Wine
The virgin dolly bird sings in her vineyard
and the virtuoso listen her arrogant melody
at his cottage window merrily.
The old rusty fence isn't a barrier it seems
if she pass a gentle glance?
The bystander in his fantasy
counting the stars in the mysterious sky.
Wine turned to vinegar
and the lonesome soul still a bachelor.

BIG HAPPY(for Lyn)
BIG HAPPY
“You make me
so happy! ”
She says.
“Oh, I say! ”
I say.
“It’s such
a big happy
but it’s made up
of all small happies! ”
“The small happy
I can hold
in my hand

A day to celebrate and be thankful for another given year
in every 12th of July is your special day my dear
Unleash every moment with your thoughts of excitement
with a magical words that everyone tends to compliment
Last but not the least, I wish you all the best that life could ever give
in anyway what life may bring, always have faith in God and believe.

Doll In A Carriage
She wants to be like her mommy
so she places her doll in a carriage.
She does not know that a mommy
should precede this event with marriage.
She covers the doll with a blanket
to keep her dolly warm.
She does not know that a mommy
is always in uniform.
White as a nurse for the babe that's sick,
an umbrella for the storm,
frazzeled, unkempt from nights awake,
worn out from lack of sleep.
Bedecked and proper for her husband
whose love she wants to keep.
She's unaware of all of this
but her innate mothering is there.
So she pushes her doll and is happy.
She has no mother's care.

About the Little Girl that Beat Her Sister
Go, go, my naughty girl, and kiss
Your little sister dear;
I must not have such things as this,
And noisy quarrels here.
What! little children scratch and fight,
That ought to be so mild;
Oh! Mary, it's a shocking sight
To see an angry child.
I can't imagine, for my part,
The reason for your folly;
She did not do you any hurt
By playing with your dolly.
See, see, the little tears that run
Fast from her watery eye:
Come, my sweet innocent, have done,
'Twill do no good to cry.
