Tristesses de la lune (Sorrows Of The Moon)
Ce soir, la lune rêve avec plus de paresse;

Acon and Rhodope
The Year's twelve daughters had in turn gone by,
Of measured pace tho' varying mien all twelve,
Some froward, some sedater, some adorn'd
For festival, some reckless of attire.
The snow had left the mountain-top; fresh flowers
Had withered in the meadow; fig and prune
Hung wrinkling; the last apple glow'd amid
Its freckled leaves; and weary oxen blinkt
Between the trodden corn and twisted vine,
Under whose bunches stood the empty crate,
To creak ere long beneath them carried home.
This was the season when twelve months before,
O gentle Hamadryad, true to love!
Thy mansion, thy dim mansion in the wood
Was blasted and laid desolate: but none
Dared violate its precincts, none dared pluck
The moss beneath it, which alone remain'd
Of what was thine.
Old Thallinos sat mute

Costanza
She knelt in prayer. A stream of sunset fell
Thro' the stain'd window of her lonely cell,
And with its rich, deep, melancholy glow
Flushing her cheek and pale Madonna brow,
While o'er her long hair's flowing jet it threw
Bright waves of gold–the autumn forest's hue–
Seem'd all a vision's mist of glory, spread
By painting's touch around some holy head,
Virgin's or fairest martyr's. In her eye,
Which glanced as dark, clear water to the sky,
What solemn fervour lived! And yet what wo,
Lay like some buried thing, still seen below
The glassy tide! Oh! he that could reveal
What life had taught that chasten'd heart to feel,
Might speak indeed of woman's blighted years,
And wasted love, and vainly bitter tears!
But she had told her griefs to heaven alone,
And of the gentle saint no more was known,
Than that she fled the world's cold breath, and made

The Autumn-Spirit.
Now the Autumn-Spirit reigneth over mountain, vale and plain,
And the Earth, bedecked with symbols of the Autumn-Spirit's reign,
Makes us think about the season of the flowers with a sigh,
When life was lush in every tree-love laughed in every eye,
Whilst her lineaments of beauty were imprinted on the sod,
When the Spring with Winter wrestled, on that gala-day of God!
But the Spring is dead and buried, and the Summer's vital fire,
Like a heap of sullen embers, smoulders ready to expire;
For the Autumn-Spirit, reigning over mountain, vale and plain,
Robes the Earth in royal symbols emblematic of his reign!
Hark! a singing train of seraphim doth o'er its surface pass!
Mark! their flowing robes of flame have singed the green and speary grass!
Witness! every tender blade appeareth tipped and tinged with brown,
And the hedge is hemmed with rose-leaves, which their wings have shaken down,
Though the hind but hears the whirring of ten thousand pinions beat,
Sees a cloud of birds of passage trail its shadow by his feet,
For the pageantry of Heaven hath escaped his optics dim,
And he sees but birds of passage in the God-sent seraphim,
While the Autumn-Spirit reigneth over mountain, vale and plain,

White Chocolate Space Egg
Orange and blue, green and pink
I see you in everything
Dont need money, dont need wine
Ive got better ways to spend my time
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
And my heart is holding on
Purple, yellow, reddish-brown
Once I felt you, I couldnt lay you down
Dont be shy, baby, dont be careful with me
Let it go, let it soak me down
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Every rock and tree and leaf abound with your face
Dont tell me Ive been wrong
Dont tell me all the magics gone
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Ill see you around
Every corner has its favorite clown

The Empytness
I spent last night trying to write to you
But the words wouldnt come,
I couldnt go on
And the telephone wont do
Im sick and tired of hearing
Youre never home
Yet Im sick in the head and the hotel
Beds dont feel right
Though I hope it doesnt show
I feel a hollow down below
And theres nothing, nothing for me to say
I feel the emptyness inside me
The emptyness inside me
I have this feeling and Ive got to get back
This feeling that Ive got to get back to you
Theres no one else
Theres nothing else
Theres no one else
I hear myself saying again and again....
Even if it doesnt show

Run Tonto Run
Dont even try
Dont want no piece of your sky
And I wont look back
Cause your blue is all black
Your twisted frown
Is really upside down
And it wont last long
Cause your right is all wrong
You live in a box
Miniature hands, tiny sox
Your love is a sigh
It just passes me by
Im gonna run tonto run
Pale hollow frame
Run tonto run
Youve let your blood in vein
Run tonto run away
Dont undress desire
Its always on fire
Strange hour fall down

The Enthusiast, or the Lover of Nature
Ye green-rob'd Dryads, oft' at dusky Eve
By wondering Shepherds seen, to Forests brown,
To unfrequented Meads, and pathless Wilds,
Lead me from Gardens deckt with Art's vain Pomps.
Can gilt Alcoves, can Marble-mimic Gods,
Parterres embroider'd, Obelisks, and Urns
Of high Relief; can the long, spreading Lake,
Or Vista lessening to the Sight; can Stow
With all her Attic Fanes, such Raptures raise,
As the Thrush-haunted Copse, where lightly leaps
The fearful Fawn the rustling Leaves along,
And the brisk Squirrel sports from Bough to Bough,
While from an hollow Oak the busy Bees
Hum drowsy Lullabies? The Bards of old,
Fair Nature's Friends, sought such Retreats, to charm
Sweet Echo with their Songs; oft' too they met,
In Summer Evenings, near sequester'd Bow'rs,
Or Mountain-Nymph, or Muse, and eager learnt
The moral Strains she taught to mend Mankind.
As to a secret Grot Ægeria stole

Bless You
Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.
Bless you, wherever you are,
Windswept child on a shooting star,
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah,
Restless spirits depart,
Still were deep in each others hearts.
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah,
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Some people say its over,
Now that we spread our wings.
But we know better, darling,
The hollow ring is only last years echo, oh.
Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm,
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Bless you, whoever you are,
Holding her now,
Be warm and kind hearted.
Ed, ed, ed, ed, ed, ed, ed, ed.
And remember, though love is strange,
Now and forever, our love will remain.
