Last Tear: (
the last and final tear falls
letting me know i'm an adult now
i have to make decisions for myself
no more crying for no reason
have to be strong through it all
you can do it
just don't think of your pain
it will all pass by
you are on your own
no more tears
the last one fell
at graduation
time to grow up
be the person your meant to be

An Do Tu
These past years, you have grown in knowledge
As a tree grows in sunshine.
You have reached out and made friends
The way a tree reaches out and plants roots,
And like a tree in spring
Your personality has blossomed.
May your future be as bright as the sun
And may success rain down upon you
(1984) Written for An on his graduation.
Balloons in the Blue
Seemingly insignificant
Amidst the bounteous blue
Yet each carries the hopes, the dreams
The smile of a child below
A little note of congratulations
A lot of best wishes on your graduation
May your future be resplendent
As a sea of balloons –
Flying colours in celebration…
19th June,2009
Dedicated to a special friend who loved balloons.

Driven To Succeed
To become the best, to achieve.
Behold! I hold the keys to my dreams.
My vision is clear, my path is in gear.
I see myself becoming one of thee best for many years.
A lawyer, a doctor, or what ever it may be.
Staying focused a main concern, I do believe.
graduation is over, college is here.
The fun has yet begun, omniscient, be real!

The scare crow
was always scaring me
near the big
tamarind tree
never thought I would
encounter it
at the graduation
I had failed to qualify
and my intellectual abilities
had defeated me
and calling a spade
a spade
can be misleading
when it is actually
a magic carpet.
The scare crow
is a test of
others' courage

Organizing
My summer job
my graduation
prom
I'm not nearly as stressed as last year
but i'm not as happy, either
because last year there was drama.
this year, I'm just sad.
It's all coming to an end so fast.
I thought that all these friendships would forever last.

the boy at Laoy
the boy is selling
charcoal
the teacher marks
him absent
from school
another boy cannot
make it this year
for graduation in his
sixth grade
his mother is in
the house resting
as she just delivered
a new baby girl
the boy has to buy
her food
a chicken soup

A
A +
A plus is not my blood group
Not the grade of my university graduation…
A plus is my fate, my logo, my name…
A very simple result of my calculation…
A stands for my heart Adoring you…
Plus means it is getting bigger and bigger everyday…
A + is my most meaningful abbreviation! ! !

Kyleigh Jade
She looks up at me with beautiful blue eyes.
She holds her arms out to me.
She smiles that wide smile,
even though she only has 8 teeth.
She loves the outdoors,
animals,
and me.
She just started walking.
Soon she’ll be walking that short graduation walk.
Look at my baby,
see how fast she has grown?
She truly is a blessing,
that girl who made me an aunt.
