Puttaparuthi
Marketing determines success.
Maneuvering promotes success.
Swamis are not an exception.
Intelligent swamis amass wealth.
People being insecure seek faith.
Progressive in knowledge though they’re,
Regressive they are in action
And run to swamis for faith healing.
Luminaries and millionaires
Prostrated in front of Baba,
Whose philanthropic arm reached out
Beyond the scope of Andhra State.
He projected himself as selfless,
Transparent and minimalistic
With a magic power to redress
Miseries of multitudes across.

And then the voice came out
Some heard the sibilant siffling of Cerces' hordes
Some heard the oration of a great states person
To others the sounds resembled the squabbling of high flying geese
Or a yard full of primary school children
A monotonous drone buzzed in some ears
While the in-crowd claimed to have witnessed
The auditory incantations of a collapsing wizard
As yet others grooved on the suspended Om
Of an old Om Mane Padme hummer
Was it not Swami Satchitananda-ji who said,
Way back in '72: In every home there is an OM
His Om lasting a full half-hour - for effect
And the crowd totally blissed out on the vibe, man
To the fringe element, hallucinatory displacements of air waves
Yielded harmonics akin to the World beat
Of course there were those who heard speak
The devil incarnate

Gopies, Like, Fairies Dance
1. Let us form a ring
2. Flowers would we offer In prayer: Trust we not The strangers!
3. Jostled with Him in dance
4. Pearls for tears, They shed ! In measured steps and, rhythmic movement
5. Receptive mind's and shaky feet, He may Stabalize !
6. Bewitched by the bright lamp The butterfly O, When'll we be mad after The madman (The Lord!)
7. Bare-footed in woods in blazing heat and Blistered over---Hot roads
8. How hard is to Speak the Truth (This much) revelation Even after self -realisation The desire to probe, What else is said',
Still persists!
And dance like Fairies bright
Lord Krishana to awaken From Slumber! And dance like Fairies bright.

The Radiance Of Pure Being
In the light of another sun
much brighter than this one
there no darkness is ever seen
as the mind of thought is clean.
When the ladder is climbed to that domain
what any go there with except love is vain.
Everything else may or can exist below
which is only what this light does show.
There is the Radiance of Pure Being
the like of which few are ever seeing.
A very rare experience by actual sight is had
as the mind is bewildered but the soul is glad.
Intellect and reason have been left behind
as all else except to that light one is blind.
Intuition or direct perception is the means
whereby the mind at its own source gleans.

Sublime Smiling Face
SUBLIME SMILING FACE
(Inspired by Lisa Casagrande)
Written by: Wilfred Mellers, (Deh Bagwa Shashmani Swami) , Tuesday, October 27,2009, @ 11: 00 AM
Through the daily monotony and rat race
There’s nothing more alluring than the smile on your face
From my memories you I cannot erase
Your smile is like a cozy affectionate embrace
Your flawlessness cannot be replaced
So gorgeous your eye-catching smile should’ve been showcased

Guru's Amrit
1. May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
To make me drink the Amrit of knowledge:
My Sat Guru, take me out of
Darkness into light !
2. To begin with, mayst Thee make me
Contemplate on my Sat Guru !
Moment after moment, would I
Pine to kneel before Thee !
Day and night, not for a moment
Would I suffer separation from Thee
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !
3. My Guru, solve the problems of my life
Now that I am born !
Humble me not among saints;
Subdue the thieves of
My emotive senses by
Strengthening the power of my will !

The True Legend-Swami Vivekananda
A spark from heaven travelled on to the earth in 1963!
He was indebted to mother for his knowledge of efflorescence,
Stating “brothers and sisters of America”, he, a speaker of eloquence,
At Parliament of World’s Religions in Chicago with eminence
Introduced Vedanta, Yoga and Hinduism in 1993!
Name and fame, fame and name, Vivekananda is his name.
He was taught by mystic Paramhamsa Ramakrishna
All religious are true to reach heaven's abode, he preached
Service to humans is worship to god he a glory reached
Therefore, Vivekananda started mission Ramakrishna
One touch, one glance, changed his life by the guru, we are told
Name and fame, fame and name, Vivekananda is his name
He pioneered- Upanishads and Vedas for dinner
Bhagavad Gita and Mahabharata and scriptures hollowed;
Ramayana and Puranas are swallowed, he a winner
With prodigious memory, He, a genius in Manifold
“Arise and awake and stop not the goal is achieved” said thee
Name and fame, fame and name, Vivekananda is his name!

Excuse Us Please!
Excuse Us Please!
Extended is an apology from a little fluffy heap
To ever voracious and stinking greedy sheep
To ever leaking sapful horses which love to peep
Sheep are pressed aching enough to squeeze out
The horse lays aground to sneeze the culprit sap out
An abortion, as all the horses are to enter the hell
The Desert dog is around, now who will cat the bell
Waiting half the life to fill the tempting and oozing hell
Knowing nothing the horse wastes all the precious jewel
Rendered now they are, fatigued, emptied and hollow
Virtues are staked and the heinous sins are to follow
Repeated invasion of the beasts is in offing and inevitable
Mistakes are repetitive to be stubborn and are not amendable
Starved the horse is nothing much valuable to gain
The luxuries are expired and insipid leading to a pain
Shackled is the stallion asking for a nourishing rain
Chocked are the passages to escape nothing much to drain
Insanity took the toll now claves must be aware and sane
Pendant is lying the unwilling and a alienated sapless log

0003 Similes, Metaphors and stuff (2)
Isn’t it strange, this thing called
Poetry – and even stranger, these things
called similes and metaphors, which are
the very essence of what poetry
uses to try to get to us?
Look! Over there, in that field! Did you
see it?
No, what?
A hare! Never seen one before! It’s
hiding in the grass now – there! It’s jumped up again!
watch it bounce up and down as it runs,
must have strong hind legs,
isn’t it funny? So fast, too – our dog will never catch it…
No I still didn’t see it, I was watching that beautiful
perfect V-formation of wild geese against the blue sky
over there, I wonder where they came from,
where they’re going? And does
their leader know and lead them, or

Sealed By A Kiss 'Ode To Liz
Chances forsaken by the chance that I will miss
Signed verdict caste fate sealed with a kiss
Futures danced on the head of a needle
For I sir knight courting so feeble
Vivacious vixen adorned in black clothing
Dancing on air while she is walking
Beautiful Looks desiring first date
Promptly showing not too late
Ladders carried working so hard
Words spoken to the knight of Covington yard
Fine like wine to dine so exciting
Golden Germanic Goddess to me inspiring
Like broiled salmon with fixings and more
Interest peaked galore to explore
Lips so sweet with a tint of pink
Fermented tonic bottled I did drink
