A people that strive, a people that hunger
A people in a dark, deep and dangerous slumber
A people whose greed, ignorance and corruption linger
Whose deep wound heals on one side
but bleeds on the other
A people dragged into the mud
by those that arise from the mud
A people of democracy
A democracy of mediocrity
A democracy of evil greed
A democracy of rotten seed
A people of careless leadership
A people of spineless followership

On The Origins of the Money, the Market and Slaves

Four boarders, languages, clans of colour and an old age of metals
Bare landscapes, rare travels, ancestry, raw sleeves and petals
The natives: The slaves, then the market and the money
The inventions, alchemy, the art a sweet harmony!
The first laws of exchange, ideas of tax and early ideas of wealth
Ideas of centralism, greed and making more money out of death
The role of the slaves, to plough the yards and farms and make more cents
To build the market, to build the market until it made more sense!
To let the whole world know, that for thousands of years evil shall reign
The origins of the market and money, the pure effort of slaves without any gain

The slaves were brought from slavery by blood, sweat and tears
Was that not in vain if slavery now has changed form
From working muscles for a thousand years
To brains not working but greed fills the hearts of the wounded
Will more greed heal the wounds of evil irreversible?
The laws of exchange revisited
Wealth not in monetary terms
Wonder if by loosing we did not gain
Lessons learnt from bloodshed

Cycles in Season

CYCLES IN SEASON

The grain, who'd reap life's golden grain
knows dust to dust's returned again,
though mortal flesh rots none impound
pure spirit risen, strength fresh found.

New found, to greet soul's season new,
scope springs again, hopes shall renew,
conceit that speeds humanity
grounds down needs through greed, vanity.

Profanity will seek full pound
of flesh before the clock’s unwound,
while wounded pride, vile greed for gain,
turns self-destructive 'gainst the grain.

Yet grain finds fertile soil. Long lain
awaiting stained-glass window pane
which cycle starts charts rich rebound

Let their continued deceit...
With their thieving greed,
Go bankrupt.
They've been warned before,
To produce drastic changes...
Or they would experience closed doors.

What will it take before their faking ends?
No bones have they thrown from their feasting,
Like fat hogs on their private jets...
Flying in to beg politicians in Washington!

How you seen the communities where these big industries are?
Have you observe the suffering
Who are the homeless and can not afford cars?
These fat cats who drink their scotch and smoke big cigars...
Could care less about their own mess they have created.

Stop Trying to Find the Logic in Everything

The trouble with people feeding their greed,
And perceiving their feeding to hoard
To be an eternal process,
For themselves to be kept stored.
With no one else to profit from a process,
Not stopped.
Is...
Well,
One day to be revealed as preventable.

Even their selfish deeds must come to an end.
Whether or not...
They believe what has been available,
Has been diminished without the consciousness
Of their active input,
To keep what is missing their responsibilty
To nourish the flourishing that is obviously,
Absent from their purpose.

Economic Storm Clouds

Darkness in the country looms, as others see economic booms,
Prospering far above our pace, as this country slips from grace.
Many hearts gripped with fears, as an economic darkness nears,
Indifferent to a growing trend, of what may be this county’s end.

But, knowing something’s wrong, in a land thought to be strong,
Prices go up, as our morals slide, facts which cannot be denied.
Fear along with anxiety grows, as seeds of greed a nation sows,
Not concerned where it will lead, unleashing a tide of utter greed.

What they sow, we must reap, and now that climb is awful steep,
As the cost of living far exceeds, man’s ability to care for needs,
Forget that thought of prosperity, a dream most of us won’t see,
As we head for that slippery slope, most will find it hard to cope,

For as a nation we pushed aside, the Truth in which we did abide.
Now with God’s Grace far behind, many men are spiritually blind,
Forgetting all our former days, as God received a nation’s praise,
When building the nation on integrity, across the land, sea to sea.

Enough Money Spent On Wars

What agony; accumulative emotive costs;
feed needle; soul destroying drug addictions?

What monstrous greed
cloaked in racial hatred;
fed with religious hatred
feeds covert wars justified?

When will we; with humanity feed;
with compassion; brothers sisters imprisoned;
in race conflict; poverty dying discarded;
in ignored horrors; extant third world?

Ban every earth war feed our poor
not capitalist corporate baron robbers;
glutted on global sly sweat shop wages
slum lord rents death reaped war profits?

Misery is waste residue of souls
which seek self pleasure materialism;

The Golden age which never was.

Trebizond the fabled city.
Where everything was fair and just.
Lost to mankind, more’s the pity
Torn apart by greed and lust.

It seems that Mankind’s doomed to be
discontented for evermore.
Because he is too proud to see
he has enough and needs no more.

He has sufficient for his needs
but he is never satisfied.
His discontentment sows the seeds
for lasting peace to be denied.

My Wish Is For A Perfect World

The World might well be different if religion and patriotism
died
And if mistrust and greed died with them there would be peace World wide
But with these four still prevalent what hope for harmony
And what hope for love and tolerance for all humanity.

That the clergy bless the troops for war seems hard to understand
To go and throw their lives away for religion and land
That man should kill his fellow man not written in God's will
The fifth commandment clearly state the words 'thou shalt not kill'.

Intolerance, greed and mistrust all of these go side by side
With lust for land and religion and patriotic pride
All these have given rise to wars and yet we've failed to see
The mistakes our fore fathers made nor learnt from history

I am not condemning religion in case you get me wrong
And I have great respect for those who worship God in song
But when religion lead men to war 'tis there the wrong come
