Anger, a spark, within all of us.
There, anger is lurking, waiting to
ignite the dynamite, that will
cause an explosion of words,
and actions, that can not be taken back.

Children Of The War

SHRUNKEN little bodies, pallid baby faces,
Eyes of staring terror, innocence defiled,
Tiny bones that strew the sand of silent places,
— This upon our own star where Jesus was a child.
Broken buds of April, is there any garden
Where they yet may blossom, comforted of sun,
While their sad Creator bows to ask their pardon
For the life He gave them, life and death in one?
Spared by steel and hunger, still shall horror blazon
Those white and tender spirits with anguish unforgot;
Half a century hence the haggard look shall gaze on
The outrage of a mother, shall see a grandsire shot.
Man who wings the azure, lassoes the hoof sparkling,
Fire-maned steeds of glory and binds them to his car,
Cannot man whose searchlight leaves no horizon darkling
Safeguard little children upon our golden star?

A day to ponder
A day to wonder

Not like any other day
A very unusual day
A day to pray
A day to say
A day of madness
A day of sadness
Oh! my God
A very crazy day
A day to respect the Lord
A day of hell
A day to hail
The Almighty
With respect and dignity

How Best To Engage Your Outrage

I am...
Outraged.
Livid.

'That's great.
That's good to hear.
Unfortunately...
It's a little late for that display,
To find sympathizers to lend an ear.

You see those people,
Sitting patiently over there?
They too had similar sentiments.
Feel free to join them.
I am sure they will share with you,
How best to engage your 'outrage'...
Into a more fulfilling 'enrage'.
One that is better suited for these times.
And don't worry about that lividity...
It will help to exercise the rolling of eyes!

That Should Prevent Any Further Outbursts

It has been made official.
The elite,
Once referred to as politicians...
Have now declared,
Violent acts commited by 'nuts'...
Those a notch up from disgruntled.
And reflecting a decadent society...
Will be regarded as distasteful!

And after psychiatric studies,
Have, indeed...
Been successfully completed,
By hand picked medical experts...
To determine the origin,
Of such embarrassing behavior...
Let it be known,
That this day and this day forward...
All flags will be lowered to half mast,
To declare our national outrage.

Precious poem

Bewildering words bounce out from your stem
Day by day you grow becomingly
My precious poem
Pepping up my know-how strongly

You talk to me in a language that puzzles
Whilst paragraphs and sentences and words
Fight each other daily rigorously in your shuttle
There is never a time or space for them to get bored
Sufficient room for grammar, you can always afford

Sometimes you are like a gem
Sometimes you spike up mayhem
With structures of words that condemn
But you are still my precious poem

At times you have a clear message
Creating pure outrage
At times there is no clear passage
Words are scribbled in a gobbled up language
