A rush to find

I rushed to see here there
My eyes were in search of her and very eager
She was not to be seen anywhere
I thought very badly of her

She must have made presence
Why did she not appear once?
It was her call for something
II could think of nothing

It was never ending wait
I was getting late
I never used to hate
I may not be able to think or state

It is anxiety that rules the mind
You are not in position to find
It can be deliberate attempt to make you fool

Life, a long, long journey

Life is a long journey,
A long, long journey-
a journey that begins with a tear,
And still ends in sore tear,
A journey full of distresses,
Possessed by variety and differences,
But one thing I and you should know,
Never destroy the Bridges,
Over which we crossed to get where we are,

Today this is mine,
Tomorrow the yours may be nine,
So that I need and must appreciate,
Nevertheless, don't forget me also to congratulate,
When I offend you please forgive,

What If

Such a tiny word, that word if, helps to ignore the present gift,
God’s gift to us of life today, when we put the past in the way,
Today’s a gift to all of us, from the Author of life Christ Jesus,
Yesterday’s past is already gone, and He’d like us to carry on.

What if, only moves us to cast, present thoughts into the past,
Tainting concerns now at hand, with those we can’t understand,
It may even cause us to resent, past issues, in view of present,
What God wants left behind, to give us present peace of mind.

We cannot physically, go back, to alter what we presently lack,
For with the past said and done, we have a present race to run.
Old issues we should not spurn, using all them instead to learn,
As we go forward in this life, following the lead of Jesus Christ.

Allow His Spirit only to retrace, those past issues by His Grace,
As Christ helps you not to repeat, what was in your past defeat.
Christ, has a plan for all of us, and in Him we must simply trust,
And God’s plan for you and me, is not more defeat, but victory.

A success and failure

I try to bite the nails
As nothing succeeds and everything fails
Why I had to retrace steps and fail?
What was the reason I failed to avail?

I have no answer as I am out from then service
I had tried earnestly to fulfill the promise
It was still a big surprise
I was hardly touched by any device

The corruption and under table money is common
In any circumstances it is followed on
This is how one has to face the devil in later years
When unpleasant things are hurled in the ears

The hones officers are put to inconvenience
There is every scope for subservience
Nothing is taken as granted for obedience
They have under go humiliation in their presence

Missed Chance

It was missed chance
Such type of moments comes only at once
Consider it as heavenly sent chance
That takes place in two heart's presence

I knew of your double mind
You were confused for real joy to find
You had everything at your disposal
As it needed no fresh proposal

Certainly my heart missed a beat
As there was tremendous warmth and heat
You were hanging in my arms
Was it a signal before storms?

The joy was reflected on your face
Was it an end of passion or mad race?
I could decide nothing and left it to you

Retrace

in Dumaguete
at 4 o'clock in the morning
you went out of the ship to take a walk along
the boulevard: an old one
with a story to tell
the one that you like to hear
again and again

this time
the heavy rains intervened
forgivable as it is the first heavy rain in the city
for the past five months

people stand along the side
of the covered pathway
watching
the rain

you sit on one of those benches
where breakfast is served

Fog

As I walk along the coastal road, to the neighbouring bay,
A curtain of thick fog suddenly comes swirling my way.
Through the dense haze, I can spot the odd car headlight,
But everything else is now completely hidden from sight.

With my journey, I decide it isn’t wise to carry on,
As my sense of direction has now completely gone.
I begin to retrace my footsteps back towards the town,
Unable to believe how quickly the fog has come down.

With familiar sights now totally obscured from view,
I feel a little bit lost, and, I admit, a little anxious too.
All around me, there is a dense veil of consuming whiteness,
But it is tinged with a gloomy grey, so there is no brightness.

I spotted the fog earlier, obscuring the nearby hilltops,
But, I carried on, assuming that’s where it would stop.
But the fog came tumbling down, on to the land below;
There wasn’t any nook or cranny, where the fog didn’t go.

Warrior without head

History may have legend stories and the proof
We can’t discount theory and remain aloof
It may not sound well with changing scene
Never heard warrior fighting without head and seen

Indian history is full of such tales
Heroic struggle waged by the males
Females offering self immolation for honor
To save dignity as need of an hour

Jaishikhri (name) fought battle for three days
Headless with swords and shield and found ways
Killing as much enemy as he could possibly do
Finally falling on ground ………….

We find warriors in present days also
Jumping in fray without thinking so
May not calculating what would be the damage
Unable to retrace or orderly way to manage

Of Puzzles And Troubled Hearts

if only..
the problems and pains..
and trials i am in now
are math puzzles i ma so sure
more than sure enough
i hads find the values of
my variables whatever they might be
the X or the Y..i should
had gone through trials and errors
and nobody will complain
how many times will i do it
how many errors will i make
till i find the solutions
that could solve my equations and then i
would be glad..
i should had done substitution or
the process of eliminations
or the comparison and contrast
whether in differential
or integral calculus
