To the Little Golden Fish
Oh, you Little Golden Fish,
Be careful to the man's wish!
He's a monster, acts so felly,

Song of Birth [*July,15th 05*]
O my companion, what should I do,

The Embargo
When private faith and public trust are sold,
And traitors barter liberty for gold;
When fell corruption, dark, and deep, like fate,
Saps the foundation of a sinking state;
Then warmer numbers glow through satire's page,
And all her smiles are darken'd into rage;
Then keener indignation fires her eye,
Then flash her lightnings, and her thunders fly!

The Mite
Creasing pages with dried up wrinkles
dust mites moving across the page,
Words crowding inside the folds
are deteriorating as they age.
Words that were penned so long ago
from inside the writer's brain,
Oh that we could iron them out
so they would remain
intact with all of their meaning.
Instead, we have lost the best
of what we cannot see.
Was it humor, drama or satire?
Only the mite knows best.

Shall You Compare Me?
Shall you compare me to a summer's day?
I am more humid,
and in the winter when the world is gray
I am more tumid
than northern nights when love defies the cold
and makes me sing,
or autumn with the falling of the gold,
or dreams in spring.
To summer days do not compare me, dearie,
in spring and fall
and winter when the days are somewhat dreary,
I hear your call.

Women’s attitude towards men
Women do talk as much about men as
Men do about them and as much in
description as men do, though much is
satire, unlike that of men.
Women value men as much, for their
Sincerity, as men value women for their honesty.
Women are drawn to men as much
For cleanliness as women to men for confidence.
Women want men to revolve around them
More than men want, and desire to be
Seen by men as womanly rather than motherly.
Thus a survey indicates for men to take some clues from.

Love can not
Love can not be had on hire
You can not attempt it to acquire
It is not available for any price
As it is full of promises
Body needs some kind of extinguisher
To control the burning desire
Some one to be near by and admire
That it is not fire to be commented for satire
Love is pure desire
Everything will be on fire
If both meet in same place
Happy end for the race
Smile and happiness on face
No worry or ill will to trace
Forget if some thing goes wrong in case
Do not run after it or make chase
