Quotes about twins, page 9

The couple of our time

Often seen together
In company of each other
Doing things together
Making things work together.

The artificial Siamese twins
Here they come again
Doing their thing
In their own way with style.

The atmosphere is filled with envy and jealousy
Yet they ignore the obvious
Holding tight to their doctrine
Believing it will see them through.

The inseparable
Couple of our time.
You are meant for each other?
I wish you the best.

My Name Written On A Streamer

my name flies
letters in bold and colors waving like the sea
two names, appearing like twins
on a streamer as though welcoming
to the fold a big time politician

my name is just a name
like any other else's names

it is not me, of course,
i may call myself an angel
but my wings are broken

my other parts cut like a picture
of a jigsaw puzzle
one by one you must pick up
the cut pieces

you fit in there then you make
me whole again

The Use Of The Word 'and

How did you use the word

'and'?

Like part and parcel
Like twins, same faces
With no meaning at all.
In all likeness

But I see how it is
Used in your country,

Liberty and equality,

How come? Did you not
Shiver with the way
How they are paired?

There may be liberty
But where is equality?

Helam

This funny world,
A woman at 70 gives birth to twins;
And i am about to give birth to your child at my old age too.

Power play,
Wet and wild;
With the midnight blues like the rough rider,
But now i do have a child for you.

I love you and i will be your cheer leader,
I want you and i will be your heart's lover,
For i will surely bring out the best in you for us to move on.

Helam my only one,
The world is funny at times;
But we all have a role to play on this love.

Explorations: I

Within me
I carry another self
An invisible twin
Who constantly confused me
When I was still a child

One summer noon
When the town seemed
Seated on a pyre
And damp bedspreads
Dripped water around
Fiery windows
I was forced to
Commit homicide...

Blood trickled
Down my tender thighs...

In the final act
Of drawing curtains

When the darkness robbed the light in happy hour

The Corsican Brothers (French: Les Frères corses) is a novella by Alexandre Dumas, père first published in 1844. It has been adapted many times on the stage and in film.

Jukebox goes on in the dim light restaurant
And the protagonist realized
When they danced Ballroom
To the tune of The Blue Danube Waltz
By John Strauss II, changing their precious wives.
Really hard to recognize each other?
Happiness & Sorrow
They're Siamese twins unchangeable.

For Alexandre Dumas!

Great Twin Brethren, The

The battle will not cease
Till once again on those white steeds ye ride,
O heaven-descended Twins,
Before humanity's bewildered host.
Our javelins
Fly wide,
And idle is our cannon's boast.
Lead us, triumphant Brethren, Love and Peace.
A fairer Golden Fleece
Our more adventurous Argo fain would seek,
But save, O Sons of Jove,
Your blended light go with us, vain employ
It were to rove
This bleak,
Blind waste. To unimagined joy
Guide us, immortal Brethren, Love and Peace.

In the white collar

In the white collar
Of the lowly sparrow
Puts me to mind of the priest
And the flying nun
I use to watch on b & w t v
T V outs me to mind
Patty Duke
And the twins
My sister and brother
Family raised in a cruel year
My brother puts me to mind
Of the men I call family
The gays met at the bar
The bar puts me to mind
Of the men I took home
Just for once for a night of joy
Joy puts me to mind
Of the time I expressed with setime puts me to mind
That now I am old
And self assured

Tabloids

Jack Nicholson jumped clear over the moon
And Britney Spears just married a baboon

A spaceship was spotted over L.A.
And Harrison Ford burnt down a café

Last weekend Bob Hope was seen around town
And Tom Cruise was reported to have drown

Bush and Kim Jong were fishing at the lake
And Pam Anderson said her boobs aren't fake

Lindsay Lohan is fat and then she's thin
Congradulations! Arnold has had twins

Trump has denied his comb over screaming
Nights in Paris have a whole new meaning
