Quotes about edison
Edison
He made electric lights to read. He gave us light today.
He gave us cylinders to please.
When Edison came to stay. Edison came to stay.
Edison set the world on fire. He really made the day.
Station to station ; many wires.
Edison came to stay. Edison came to stay.

The Edison Museum
The edison museum, not open to the public
Its haunted towers rise into the clouds above
Folks drive in from out of town
To gaze in amazement when they see it
Just outside the gate I look into the courtyard
Underneath the gathering thunderstorm
Through the iron bars, I see the black maria
Revolving slowly in its platform
In the topmost tower, the lights burn dim
A coiling filament glowing within
The edison museum, once a bustling factory
Today is but a darkened cobweb covered hive of industry
The tallest, widest and most famous haunted mansion in new jersey
Behind a wooden door, the voice of thomas alva
Recites a poem on a phonograph
Ghosts float up the stairs, like silent moving pictures
The loyal phantoms of his in house staff
A wondrous place it is, there can be no doubt
But no one ever goes in, and no one ever goes out
The edison museum, not open to the public

Light Blub and the Candle
Candle: 'You think your so bright.'
Light Blub: 'I'm supposed to be that way.'
But at least I don't go out, everytime a breeze blows in.'
Candle: 'Hey I have been here longer than you.'
Light Blub: 'Edison invented me, who invented you? '
Candle: 'Don't really know for sure, but I have been around longer.'
Light Blub: 'You already said that.'
Candle: ' I get so mad, everytime someone says, they have an idea
they compare it to a light blub.'
Light Blub: 'Who else.'
Candle: ' When the power goes out, were the first things people reach
for.'

The Spirit Of St. Louis
In my consirtium,
In my realm,
In my apartment,
And like thr spirit of St. Louis in the land of my muse;
But this world is full of sins.
Three months of studies and three months of love,
But Thomas Alva Edison taught himself everything that he knew;
And he became a great man! !
As he also invented the phonograph in 1877,
But cry the beloved child of Africa.
Achilles dipped into the River Styx,
But i was born on Friday the 13th of October 1961;
In the very time when the cameras around could not take my picture.
My image at birth was very hard for the cameras,
But do kiss the missing birds when i am about to touch you with my love;
For my words are more imaginative than ever!
And like Thomas Alva Edison who taught himself.

Anything that won't sell, I don't want to invent. Its sale is proof of utility, and utility is success.

I have not failed 999 times. I have simply found 999 ways how not to create a light bulb.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work.

If Edison had a needle to find in a haystack, he would proceed at once with the diligence of the bee to examine straw after straw until he found the object of his search... I was a sorry witness of such doings, knowing that a little theory and calculation would have saved him ninety per cent of his labor.
