Quotes about enigma

Enigma

Split!
The earth shakes.
The weather changes,
To bring heartache.
The seasons are overlapping,
And no one can explain.
Accept to say...
A global warming is being displayed.
No comrephension comes of it.
A mystery that is hidden...
Complex and void of understanding.
Comes without invitation and sits.
An enigma to confuse and sustain.
To maintain and delude!
Diluting a mindset conscious.
Afflicting a fear into the mix.
And pulling away from a normalcy,
Once fit to strut...
In denouncements of nonconformists,
Who utter objections to a way of life.

In My Coffee Cup

Drink your coffee, drink your tea, Either one is fine with me
I can read the future, spend some time with me
I can read the future, for a fee
Come see the future with me

The gypsy smiles, she knows the future, yet she lives in poverty
She came to me for advice to treasure, Help to gain prosperity

I've made fortunes, doing cartwheels, bent over backwards, to keep animoty
I'm a contrarian, do not follow, an enigma of my family tree

Drink your coffee, drink your tea, Either one is fine with me
I can read the future, spend some time with me
I can read the future, for a fee
Come see the future with me

Leaders of the free world, need new answers, I've met them all behind closed doors
I judge them not, nor awaken their slumber
Yours is the choice of true democratic law

Charles Baudelaire

Chanson d'Après-midi (Afternoon Song)

Quoique tes sourcils méchants
Te donnent un air étrange
Qui n'est pas celui d'un ange,
Sorcière aux yeux alléchants,

Je t'adore, ô ma frivole,
Ma terrible passion!
Avec la dévotion
Du prêtre pour son idole.

Le désert et la forêt
Embaument tes tresses rudes,
Ta tête a les attitudes
De l'énigme et du secret.

Sur ta chair le parfum rôde
Comme autour d'un encensoir;
Tu charmes comme le soir
Nymphe ténébreuse et chaude.

I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Girl in the Green Dress

Girl in the green dress
What are your intentions?
You are spellbound with thoughts
But enigma upon enigma
Conceals your secret heart.

Girl in the green dress
What are your aspirations?
The more I sense your spirit
The less I seem to know.

Girl in the green dress
What are your realisations?
Or perhaps you prefer to hide
Behind the shadow of your words.

Enigma Romanced

They kissed the enigma of every dawn
The night stars strung up for the day-sleep
From indefinite realms, mesmerized slowly
They danced surrendering to the ancient plot

Sipping mirth curled against his immortal chest
The fires warm from their endless evenings
She waltzed the dance of winds in woods
Their sinuous bodies wrapped around rhythm

Bodies in tandem from heathen chants
His strong hips glistened a thousand tales
Torsos heaved and the heavens wanted it too
Moves from dances the angels couldn't have

Music offered to trade her primal chords
The gods offered to trade their secrets too
But these two dancers know too much to trade
They kiss the enigma of every dawn…

WiND oF CHaNGe...

Wind Of Change made me a call
To better my life, my inner, my all
To revive my Heart, my Mind, my Soul

Wind Of Change helped me to soar
To leave the cruel fields of War
To knock the Peaceful Heaven’s Door

Wind Of Change turned the last page of sadness
To begin in the Name Of GOD the well of gladness
To forget the mournful years of vanity, of darkness

Wind Of Change brought a warm breeze
To alter my cold, to put my Heart at ease
To give the Peace’s Hand a squeeze

Wind Of Change whispered softly in my ears
Enigma, I’ll take away all your fears”
“From your cheeks I’ll wipe the trail of tears”

A Gleam Of Hope

From despair to a gleam of hope
I wrote this poem to dream of hope...........

Hope is a candle in my dark
At night he is the sparkling stars

Hope is my eternal dream
In the day he's my sunbeam

Hope so special - makes my life
He saves my heart from inner strife

Hope is my window opened wide
After my rain - my rainbow guide

Hope is my perfect scenting flower
Against all strife, he gives me power

Hope fights for me heroically
While the whole world opposes me
