Quotes about estranged
Temporary Leave
If 'ever' our closeness,
Should become estranged...
Slap me quickly to awaken,
Dear Father.
Know this...
If 'ever' our closeness,
Should become estranged...
I have taken temporary leave,
Of my consciousness.
IF You should 'ever',
Doubt my faith...
As I wish for you to believe,
As I say it is as it is perceived to be...
Dear Father.
I have been drugged without my knowledge.
And in need of Your serious counseling.
I have been strickened with abnormal indecision.
Something defective has come to bait my attention.

Wilt Thou Unkind Thus Reave Me
Wilt thou unkind thus reave me
Of my heart, of my heart,
And so leave me, and so leave me?
Farewell! Farewell!
But yet or e'er I part, O cruel,
Kiss me, sweet, kiss me,
sweet, sweet my jewel.
Hope by disdain grows cheerless,
Fear doth love, love doth fear
Beauty peerless, beauty peerless.
True love cannot be changed
Though delight from desert
Be estranged, be estranged.

Estranged, My Guardian Angel
My guardian angle is Estranged
He knows I'm lonely, yet won't hold me
His desert flower, which he won't shower
In an endless rain of love
He knows I'm lonely, yet won't hold me
I'm all alone, He's all I need
An endless rain of love
He holds my heart, yet we're apart
I love him yet, He doesn't get
That he could save me, He's what I need
Yet he loves me, though he may be
My guardian angel, Estranged

A City Of Souls
A beloved blessed historic city
encompasses embodies more
than architecturally shaped
preserved bricks and mortar.
Such sensuality such filth
such heightened inspiration
such impassioned reason
such nobility of enacted ideals
intermixes with multitudes
encompassing estranged emotions
in constant flux haboured
human hunger hidden passion bidden
behind personality protective
masks veiled variant frontages.

Redemption
He thought that he would die alone
when he entered hospice care.
Folks wind up in Calvary
who haven’t got a prayer.
Long estranged from his first wife
And the two children that she bore him.
He only sought a refuge
from pain and death before him.
The nurse on duty saw his name
And hope combined with fear.
Could this be her father that was lost?
Could fate have brought him here?
She asked the patient if he had
some family about.
He mentioned his two daughters’ names
“-but they must be grown up now.”

The 11th Of March
The romantic
From the clouds they picked him
bled him Three times
he fell, and now sits waiting in the moonlight
as though expectant of a promise made in winter
destined to be paid with patience through a waning
age of passion The eleventh day, and only ten before
the 21st near the mouth of ancient woods
Like a pedestal
his nakedness changes him
and by the jeering hatred absent
of unenthused
dark eyes He stumbles into them
discovers they are brown
realizing there is
no quarter Feels turmoil in his knees
He is the guilty man He is
estranged

If I Should Die Tonight
If I should die to-night,
My friends would look upon my quiet face
Before they laid it in its resting-place,
And deem that death had left it almost fair;
And, laying snow-white flowers against my hair,
Would smooth it down with tearful tenderness,
And fold my hands with lingering caress, --
Poor hands, so empty and so cold to-night!
If I should die to-night,
My friends would call to mind with loving thought
Some kindly deed the icy hands had wrought,
Some gentle word the frozen lips had said,
Errands on which the willing feet had sped;
The memory of my selfishness and pride,
My hasty words would all be put aside,
And so I should be loved and mourned to-night.
If I should die to-night,
Even hearts estranged would turn once more to me,

Tirocinium; or, a Review of Schools
It is not from his form, in which we trace
Strength join'd with beauty, dignity with grace,
That man, the master of this globe, derives
His right of empire over all that lives.
That form, indeed, the associate of a mind
Vast in its powers, ethereal in its kind,
That form, the labour of Almighty skill,
Framed for the service of a freeborn will,
Asserts precedence, and bespeaks control,
But borrows all its grandeur from the soul.
Hers is the state, the splendour, and the throne,
An intellectual kingdom, all her own.
For her the memory fills her ample page
With truths pour’d down from every distant age;
For her amasses an unbounded store,
The wisdom of great nations, now no more;
Though laden, not encumber’d with her spoil;
Laborious, yet unconscious of her toil;
When copiously supplied, then most enlarged;
Still to be fed, and not to be surcharged.

The King of the Vasse
A LEGEND OF THE BUSH.
MY tale which I have brought is of a time
Ere that fair Southern land was stained with crime,
Brought thitherward in reeking ships and cast
Like blight upon the coast, or like a blast
From angry levin on a fair young tree,
That stands thenceforth a piteous sight to see.
So lives this land to-day beneath the sun,—
A weltering plague-spot, where the hot tears run,
And hearts to ashes turn, and souls are dried
Like empty kilns where hopes have parched and died.
Woe's cloak is round her,—she the fairest shore
In all the Southern Ocean o'er and o'er.
Poor Cinderella! she must bide her woe,
Because an elder sister wills it so.
Ah! could that sister see the future day
When her own wealth and strength are shorn away,
A.nd she, lone mother then, puts forth her hand

Gebir
FIRST BOOK.
I sing the fates of Gebir. He had dwelt
Among those mountain-caverns which retain
His labours yet, vast halls and flowing wells,
Nor have forgotten their old master's name
Though severed from his people here, incensed
By meditating on primeval wrongs,
He blew his battle-horn, at which uprose
Whole nations; here, ten thousand of most might
He called aloud, and soon Charoba saw
His dark helm hover o'er the land of Nile,
What should the virgin do? should royal knees
Bend suppliant, or defenceless hands engage
Men of gigantic force, gigantic arms?
For 'twas reported that nor sword sufficed,
Nor shield immense nor coat of massive mail,
But that upon their towering heads they bore
Each a huge stone, refulgent as the stars.
This told she Dalica, then cried aloud:
