You're living in a dreamer's dream
Da Da Capo
One level ahead
I'm calling to you
But touch you I cannot do
To tell you i can't
I'm drawing the line
To greetings to understand
You will find me waiting out in the dark
I'm your everlasting property
You're the one I'm living for
And feed all the time
Da Da Capo
Once again
I'm telling you I am your friend

Our intent will not be to create gridlock. Oh, except maybe from time to time.

Americans are sick n’ tired
Of Congress gridlock n’ inaction

A Thoughtful Parent
when a thoughtful parent
picks up their child late
events may have hidden motives
accidents emergencies
mechanical failure
gridlock traffic inhospitable
are but obvious reasons
truth may have simple
delightful more pleasant causes
it may not as seems be
because responsible parents
are apparently tardy
it may be because
their child wants to play
on swings after class

Weightless Boughs
Lost among the tallest trees
Men drowning of the green
Bury me under weightless boughs
Where I may not be seen
So I will come to visit you
In your nights of peace
Talk with me to comfort me
Still youthful in your sleep
Out there on the motorway
The gridlock of the dawn
Here beside a cherry tree
A hoof of newborn fawn
Ducks beneath the willow tree
My widow weeping silently
You let me down so tenderly
Leaving me rest eternal.

Washington
They're selling plastic Jesus's
in the halls of the senate,
putting band-aids on open wounds
that ooze when you breathe...
Trading worthless paper, cigar deals,
'in God we trust', or not!
puffing out their ashen chests,
strutting like empty headed roosters.
And the children of the dream
bow their heads and blindly walk;
the meat grinder turns his wheel,
the spineless monkey dances!
An empire falls in sterile silence,
throw the helpless to the lions!
no food, no water, no oil, no power,
gridlock, and a broken bow!

Overboard - Initial Version 1082
Watch not the day by time nor rhyme by night,
if there's no wrong how can there be a right,
the corner stranger as a friend may greet,
while stranger former friend turns in his plight.
Cause and effect reflect on ends and means
all gridlock must be smashed to smithereens,
judgemental values will themselves defeat
though self-sufficient knowledge puts up screens.
What's hid is bid unriddled when the heart
throws knowledge, judgement, overboard to start
to separate appearance 'surface sheet'
from innner senses' empathy - trust chart.

Gridlock Blocks
Gridlock blocks and stops,
Advancement.
And those who attempt to prevent this growth,
With their votes...
Choke,
On their own ineptitude provoked.
And there...
Under a glaring spotlight,
They've become stunned...
By those seeking to see them,
Get things done.
To eventually be revealed to everyone...
That gettings things done,
Is not one of their capabilities.
Upsetting a correct direction,
That has promise to become effective...
Is the only implementation used to increase,
An obsession the opposition uses,

Gridlock
Advocating an end,
To a gridlock begins.
So all intersections are closed,
Not opened to relieve the strain.
And those selected to intercept,
Have rejected the best solutions.
Engaging themselves instead with praise.
As they keep the traffic blocked...
From making any forward movement.
Seeking to be acknowledged...
By those outraged.
With the winning of campaigns,
That increase heated arguments...
With additional rhetoric that drains.
But they seek to be acknowledged...
By those outraged.
The ones who placed them in positions,
Now have their verification...
