De Sauty
AN ELECTRO-CHEMICAL ECLOGUE
The first messages received through the submarine cable
were sent by an electrical expert, a mysterious personage
who signed himself De Sauty.
Professor Blue-Nose
PROFESSOR
TELL me, O Provincial! speak, Ceruleo-Nasal!
Lives there one De Sauty extant now among you,
Whispering Boanerges, son of silent thunder,
Holding talk with nations?
Is there a De Sauty ambulant on Tellus,
Bifid-cleft like mortals, dormient in nightcap,
Having sight, smell, hearing, food-receiving feature
Three times daily patent?
Breathes there such a being, O Ceruleo-Nasal?

Stravinsky's Three Pieces
First Movement
Thin-voiced, nasal pipes
Drawing sound out and out
Until it is a screeching thread,
Sharp and cutting, sharp and cutting,
It hurts.
Whee-e-e!
Bump! Bump! Tong-ti-bump!
There are drums here,
Banging,
And wooden shoes beating the round, grey stones
Of the market-place.
Whee-e-e!
Sabots slapping the worn, old stones,
And a shaking and cracking of dancing bones;
Clumsy and hard they are,
And uneven,
Losing half a beat
Because the stones are slippery.

Remember that the pharynx is at a crossroads from which leads off, at the top, the passage to the mouth cavity and the passage to the nasal cavity, and below, the passage to the larynx.

Bank Of The Seine In The Northwestern Suburbs Of An Imaginary City
On the edge of a hill
You get a smile of an angel
Under a oak
Your wicker basket
A green canteen for sparkling water
You ride a paper pony
My cute panda of Cythera
And I can not forget the sword of truth
Liquid
Open-mid
Alphabet day
Nasal labio-velar
On the way home
I hear Aphrodite's voice through your tears

Srping Is Here
non-stop sneezing
water dripping from
eyes red and bulged
blocked nostrils adding
nasal twang to the voice...
that sounds queerly heavy
amidst colorful floral tribute to
the earth with koel's sweetened
voice as the background score...
...o, yes!
i know spring is here
...ach...oo.., .! ! ! ! ! !

A Certain People
As Puritans they prominently wax,
And none more kindly gives and takes hard knocks.
Strong psalmic chanting, like to nasal cocks,
They join to thunderings of their hearty thwacks.
But naughtiness, with hoggery, not lacks
When Peace another door in them unlocks,
Where conscience shows the eyeing of an ox
Grown dully apprehensive of an Axe.
Graceless they are when gone to frivolousness,
Fearing the God they flout, the God they glut.
They need their pious exercises less
Than schooling in the Pleasures: fair belief
That these are devilish only to their thief,
Charged with an Axe nigh on the occiput.

Hayfever
May, when my feet ache to feel soil, grass and sand
after Winter's curfew,
steps gently
into June.
The fullness and freshness of bushes and trees
purple Rhodedendrums
dominant throughout.
Then all Nature's healthy friends
become enemies,
nasal antagonists
merciless mercinaries
meaningless oppressors
turning simple pleasures
into unreasonable misery.
The scratch,
the sniff
of Nature's rift

Aunt Ching Chang Chung's Shark fin soup!
I like that spicy odour
As same as the wonderful taste.
That's why I peep every other day
To Shanghai bamboo Restaurant!
Migrated Aunt established here
Long ago it seems and her eldest daughter
Chung Chang's nasal song of the yin & yang
Sometimes bit annoying.
And I saw on the wall a photograph hangs,
I asked; 'Is that Comrade Mao Tse-tung? '
'O no that's my step father! '
'Where's he now? '
She replied with a Cantonese smile;
'He still watches the Chinese Great Wall! '
I left the restaurant while Aunt's cutting Pork ribs
For the steak grill.
And I think of the poet with a breath of fresh air
Tu Fu! I respect him at all.

Super Sweet Angel Fish
My dear grandchild
A girl of three plus, born in Reading
Lives with her sister, Madhumitha
Speaks Good British English
With good vocabulary;
She asks me frequently
What is time now?
My reply is 8 AM or 10 PM
She asks with a nasal twang
Do you say 'One hundred'...!
While I put a question to her,
She thinks and tells the answer.
To complete the sentence,
She tries to find the suitable word....
And... And... fits the suitable word;
Who studies in
Wellington Primary School, Hounslow
