Quotes about pastel
Pastel de Manzana Dulce Stuff
Amor dulce como la miel-bunch-robles,
me frote hacia abajo como mummylocks,
el núcleo de modo redondo y profundo,
jugo de ser las semillas,
Candy Apple-rojo-hueso,
tal vez por eso ella se queda,
causar que la mujer love sweet-talk,
Nunca pensé que vería el día,
que mis brazos se abrazar,
respaldar a las cosas dulces,
No estoy tratando a la mujer de ella,
porque ella no me MAN,

A pastel dream
Oh for a kiss would my heart resign
Those pastel sketches I have dreamt
Those same dreams which filled my days
Told of a great love and romance kept
A gallery of portraits I have seen
Pictured my soul became revealed
I saw the beauty of which I desired
Inspired by a greater beauty to life
And all of this I have surveyed
The pastel landscape of a world imagined
Soft, softly drawn with tender care
The heart, the soul did bring to view
A passionate desire gentle in its nature
All of which created this picture
This pastel daydream I have dreamt
I would surrender it all, I would resign
To feel a kiss from her lips touch mine

Candy Hearts Can Kill
CUTE ONE, BE MINE, LOVE ME
Valentine’s day brings them out
BE TRUE, KISS ME, HUG ME,
Sayings candy Sweethearts shout
Jumbled like a crazy quilt
Field of pastel blossoms
pink, orange, purple, green, yellow, white
and now soft brown chocolate too
Spill them out
And hear them shout
Those mocking slogans
at you
NEW LOVE, MY GUY
BABY GIRL, ONLY U
MY SWEET, ONE LOVE
That’s how candy can torture you
MISS YOU, CALL ME,

Maybe Baby Pink
I think in
pastel pink
for my baby maybe
for my maybe baby
for my nearly daughter
for every little thing
that I almost
nearly
taught her
I feel my pain in
pastel pink
waves of
subtle
anguish
for my baby girl
for my spirit daughter

Autumn In My Mind
i guess the color must be
pastel
pastel yellow and the feeling
must be humid
or if not it is something soft
and yet dry
and the only motion
like what candice describes
in her poem
must always be the
falling and
falling
and falling
and falling
and
touching the ground
with so much silence
except the
murmur of the

Life
Pastel? don't even know what that means
Pastel? Hell! rhymes any way
My color of life?
Don't even know where I'm from,
Let alone anything else.
Don't know where I'm from
Don't know where I'm at
Don't know where I'm going
Yes I do...I'm going back to small
My favorite place, small pebbles, smooth and shiny
Small lakes and sacred woods
And tiny dreams that come true in sunsets
And porch swings on warm summer nights
And he who would continue to labor this life forever
Would be forever poorer
For all loss is only gain

A Change Of Seasons
There is beauty found in dying
when Autumn dons her velvet gown—
A pastel landscape underlying
when Autumn strolls through town.
When Autumn dons her velvet gown,
deep colors in her skirt unfold.
When Autumn strolls through town,
the leaves turn crimson, brown, and gold.
Deep colors in her skirt unfold.
Summer acquiesces.
The leaves turn crimson, brown, and gold
when Autumn unbraids her copper tresses.
Summer acquiesces—
A pastel landscape underlying.
When Autumn unbraids her copper tresses,
there is beauty found in dying.

Inevitable
The setting sun as daylight fades,
before the dark of night descends.
Must paint the clouds in pastel shades
almost as if to make amends.
Before the dark of night descends.
Soft hues of various shades and grades,
make valiant efforts to defend
their last stronghold from darkness’ raids.
Must paint the clouds in pastel shades
in vain attempt which won’t extend
the closing of the day’s parade.
Today as all days has to end
Almost as if to make amends.
The night winds softly serenade
Mark the beginning of the end,
the fall of night cannot be stayed.

Painting This Love
You speak to me with pastel tones
My heart and head begin to groan
Again you’ve got me under your spell
It really makes me quite unwell
I throw my purple words at you
Although there are only a few
I have to find a way
To say what i must say
Purple tones blend with black
Fade to pink I take it back
I love you yes that’s true
You love me yes you do
Why spread the pastels over me
Leave them in our history
The future of us is grey and bleak
This love we have is oh so weak
Dirty tones wash over it all
Step back now let the love fall
Smashing into a thousand bits
All of the colours gush out in fits

Amalfi
Mountains erupt from the Mediterranean
Pastel buildings cascade down their side
Architecture and the sea acts as prisms
Creating a: kissed by the sun- spectrum of delight;
A handful of villages will be your backdrop
Upon your journey of the Amalfi coast
You will travel the fabled serpentine Amalfi road
Ah, Italia...You are such a wonderful host! ;
Pastel coloured towns-invite you
As they cling to the craggy cliffs most divine
Vertical landscapes are fit for a King
The sandy coves-and brightly coloured villages-sublime;
'Tis home to Ulysses' mythical sirens
The Amalfi coast-calls to you
From the past times ancient ruins
Or cruising the Isle of Capri's waters of blue;
Oh, so many incredible places and food-
Ravello and Positano are but a few
Exquisite to all of ones senses-
Italia, oh Italia-'tis calling you! ;
