Quotes about request

Conditioned To Request Permission

No need to treat me like an alley cat.
Because you are addicted...
To those rumors that will ruin,
Any happiness we get.

No need to treat me like an alley cat.
Because you are addicted...
To those rumors that will ruin,
Any happiness we get.

Because you are addicted...
To those rumors that will ruin,
The pursuing of the blooming...
We expect and accept,
With any happiness we get.

Oh...
Oh oh,
Why should we be the ones conditioned,
To request permission...

Babys Request

When the moon lays his head on a pillow
And the stars settle down for a rest,
Just do me one small favour, I beg you,
Please play me my babys request.
Its the song that we heard when we started.
Now the birds have all flown from our nest,
But you could bring back memries departed
By playing my babys request.
My baby said that she knows how it goes
But youre the one who really knows,
So go ahead, just one more time and then well go to bed.
- solo -
But you could bring back memries departed
By playing my babys request.
My baby says she knows how it goes but youre the one that really knows.
So go ahead, just one more time and then well go to bed.
When the moon lays his head on a pillow
And the star settles down for a rest,
Just do me one small favour, I beg you,
Please play me babys request.

Metamorphoses: Book The Sixth

PALLAS, attending to the Muse's song,
Approv'd the just resentment of their wrong;
And thus reflects: While tamely I commend
Those who their injur'd deities defend,
My own divinity affronted stands,
And calls aloud for justice at my hands;
Then takes the hint, asham'd to lag behind,
And on Arachne' bends her vengeful mind;
One at the loom so excellently skill'd,
That to the Goddess she refus'd to yield.
The Low was her birth, and small her native town,
Transformation She from her art alone obtain'd renown.
of Arachne Idmon, her father, made it his employ,
into a Spider To give the spungy fleece a purple dye:
Of vulgar strain her mother, lately dead,
With her own rank had been content to wed;
Yet she their daughter, tho' her time was spent
In a small hamlet, and of mean descent,
Thro' the great towns of Lydia gain'd a name,
And fill'd the neighb'ring countries with her fame.

A request to society

Foetus -
A request to society
Don't abort us in hasty
I will thank you wholeheartedly!

Newborn girl child -
A request to society
Don't poison us prematurely
Allow us to live; We might
light the lamp in your family!

A newly-wed bride -
A request to society
Not to indulge in bride burning
for the sake of dowry!

A grown up woman -
A request to society
Women are part of everyone's family
Consider us to live peacefully!

The Wife Of Bath Her Tale

In days of old, when Arthur filled the throne,
Whose acts and fame to foreign lands were blown,
The king of elves, and little fairy queen,
Gambolled on heaths, and danced on every green;
And where the jolly troop had led the round,
The grass unbidden rose, and marked the ground.
Nor darkling did they dance, the silver light
Of Phœbe served to guide their steps aright,
And, with their tripping pleased, prolong the night.
Her beams they followed, where at full she played,
Nor longer than she shed her horns they staid,
From thence with airy flight to foreign lands conveyed.
Above the rest our Britain held they dear,
More solemnly they kept their sabbaths here,
And made more spacious rings, and revelled half the year.
I speak of ancient times; for now the swain
Returning late may pass the woods in vain,
And never hope to see the nightly train;
In vain the dairy now with mints is dressed,
The dairy-maid expects no fairy guest

Salmacis and Hermaphroditus.

MY wanton lines doe treate of amorous loue,
Such as would bow the hearts of gods aboue:
Then Venus, thou great Citherean Queene,
That hourely tript on the Idalian greene,
Thou laughing Erycina, daygne to see
The verses wholly consecrate to thee;
Temper them so within thy Paphian shrine,
That euery Louers eye may melt a line;
Commaund the god of Loue that little King,
To giue each verse a sleight touch with his wing,
That as I write, one line may draw the tother,
And euery word skip nimbly o're another.
There was a louely boy the Nymphs had kept,
That on the Idane mountains oft had slept,
Begot and borne by powers that dwelt aboue,
By learned Mercury of the Queene of loue:
A face he had that shew'd his parents fame,
And from them both conioynd, he drew his name:
So wondrous fayre he was that (as they say)
Diana being hunting on a day,

Game Over

Game over.
Your request for an additional overtime,
To play...
Will not be granted.

Your insistence that your opponent,
Has weaknesses you have capabilities to defeat...
Needs nore evidence,
Than those strategies used...
Produced to see you the one getting beat.

Huddling with neighbors and friends...
As well as family members,
Who have expressed their doubts...
Knowing your preference to embellish,
Have already signalled...
They believe you undeserving of more time outs.

Game over.
Your request for an additional overtime,

Dieing Is Not An Option

Dieing is not an option,
When one is upset with life.
I like to think of it as a request,
One makes...
When a darkness begins,
To shield one from the light!

We all are born receiving gifts,
To experience our lives as we choose...
And like.
Some refuse to believe they have chosen,
To follow another on a path.
Instead of selecting,
A happiness grabbed for them that will last.

And that is not easy when variety,
Appears to confuse the mind of some.
Especially when discipline and devotion,
Seem to compete with those who have more fun.

Am I Dying or Already Dead

I happened to overhear,
Which, I realize now,
Should not have happened

I overhead
My treating doctor
Talking to his doctor friend
He was briefing my case to him
Probably, expecting his friend
To be of some professional help

From what all transpired
I came to know that
My days were just counted
Ten days at the maximum
I would survive with this
Life threatening
Cancer giant occupying me

The knowledge of the nearing death
