Quotes about sip
Sip It As If Kettled
Sip it as if kettled like a soup.
Then grade it,
Homemade.
And...
Savor every flavor that's pursued.
To aid,
Your best to be...
The one who lives your life,
Spiced and energized...
The way you like that's right.
And one of a kind you find!
Sip it as if kettled like a soup.
Then grade it,
Homemade.
And...
Savor every flavor that's pursued.
To aid,
Your best to be...
The one who lives your life,

Small Doses
You'd think after fourty
Long days and nights
I'd finally get used to the rain
But until the storm passes
Outta my mind
The only thing I know
To take for the pain is..
Small, small doses,
A sip at a time
A little whiskey and water
I'll sit here all night
Some live with heartaches
But I'm killing mine
With small, small doses
A sip at a time.
My doctor said son
Aint a thing I can do
To help you get on with your life
So till I find a way
To forget about you

You Like To Pour It
You don't want lemon in your tea.
Even though it's mixed in the recipe.
But yet you pour it.
You like to sip a bit while sitting just to pour it.
You like to pour it.
You don't want lemon in your tea.
Even though it's mixed in the recipe.
But yet you pour it.
You like to sip a bit while sitting just to pour it.
You like to pour it.
Yet you pour it.
You like to sip a bit while sitting just to pour it.
You like to pour it.
You don't want lemon in your tea.
But yet you pour it.
You like to sip a bit while sitting just to pour it.
You like to pour it.

Animals in Clothes
Animals in clothes I see
Driving cars or sipping tea
Animals in clothes I see
But they don't know what they are
These animals that drive a car?
Dress in clothes?
Sip the tea?
Just like you
Just like me
Very clever animals they'd be!
But they don't know what they are
These animals that drive a car
Dress in clothes
Sip the tea
Just like you
Just like me
So truly stupid animals they be
Not to realize what they are

Balangaw (Rainbow)
One morning, I had a cup of coffee
By the window of my hut at Lahong
Facing North. I let the air evolve into wind
From my mouth to the surface of the vaporizing
Liquid in the cup, forming waves,
And then took a sip.
The heat and the taste bit my tongue.
Ouch!
The sky was partly cloudy; it was raining
In the West whilst the sunrise shone in the East.
I took a sip.
I looked up in the sky and was pleased to see
A rainbow painted on the Western part.
Mamang always warned us not to point our fingers
To the rainbow because doing so

Land of chocolate
I took a walk out of the ordinary today
i didn't work, rest, nor did i play
i walked out my front door with a wish
a wish that i could walk to a chocolate land
so i closed my eyes and imagined...
and there it was in my mind...
a fudge chocolate gate stood in front of me
i ran up to it with urgency
to my surprise the gate was locked and could not be opened
a note in white chocolate stared me in the face
it simply said in big bold itallycs
'please eat your way through the fudge gates'
and so i did...(i took a huge bite and chewed and chewed)
i bit one whole bar off this fudge gate
(and because i'm imagining it, my hunger is never satisfied
and i can not get sick, WaaHaa!)
i finished my BAR of chocolate and huddled through
I could hardly believe what lay before me
the clouds where only forty feet above the ground

Brass Lantern Winds
We were riding our horses smoothly,
returning from war, bullets torn through
me, my friends, a rancher and a priest
veterans
we just have passed the morning mist.
(bullet riddled right through) , riding slowly
bloody sweat drops - dropp on the ground
'My friends the priest says, I 'll sit amidst
this longhorn
tall grass, the flowers, the buzzing bees..'
So we sit. I, the sailor, wearily pull out
my saddle bags, three bottles of liquor,
'try it buds, in my parts, of this we drink,
trustfully
for med, and cure, 'Rakee' triply distilled'
So we drink and drink, sip by sip (we drink)
slow bloody drops slowly fall, 'My friends,

Every Sip
[Chorus]
With every sip of my drink (uhh)
I get a little bit closer (uh-huh)
And when Im tryin to re-think (yeah)
I cant really get focused (uh, uh)
I wasnt tryin to be mean
I can see that its hopeless (uhh)
Cause your persistance overpowers me
I know you rollin out with me
[Verse 1]
I was stayin at the Shore Club, leanin in the red room
Seen this tan mami, she was fresh off the sand dunes
Big bottles and models and poom-pooms
Surroundin my table, watchin me like cable
My Dolce hat was low, Versace shades
Had the Prada shoes on cause the world is a stage
Lah-lah in the air, its a sky bar affair
The glamorous life, I had my glass in the air
When my eyes connected with somethin real real nice
Like she finished her drink and started chewin on my ice

Intoxicated (Life Of An Alcoholic)
A tear runs down my face
as i stare down this half empty
bottle man i remember back then
so young and pure
where did this days go
i miss the old me but so much
been accomplished can i give it all up
i take a sip as the liquor being to hit
oh man i feel good stress free
i want this feeling to stay so i sip again
yea i sit back and rock back and forth
as they all sleep am still here
haven't left yet as all come rushing back
so i take a bigger sip
and wishes it goes away
heard news about a former class mate died
damn more stress so i
grab the bottle a little harder
as i drink my tears away
missing my family so i drink more

When The Morning Comes
when the morning comes
and you wake up first
and i am still left naked
beside these white
stained cover sheets
you know i will follow
you in the kitchen
where breakfast is
ready prepared by
your own hands
we look at each other
again this time
new eyes new memories
new anticipations
new love, new selves
new covenants
new promises
