Quotes about toothless
A Bad Break
The preacher quoted, and the cranks
Among his congregation smiled,
"How sharper than a serpent's thanks
It is to have a toothless child."
He saw he erred, his eye grew wild,
He frowned upon the mirthful ranks:
"How toothless than a serpent's child
It is to have a sharper's thanks!"

A Dog's Life
Sixteen years, now almost seventeen,
I've played at stick and ball, stayed seldom still
until good master's call would whistle shrill
to lead me back - no need to smack. Sight keen.
Sixteen years tail's wagged as faithful friend,
as boon companion, running round fun years.
His mother passed away, I shared the tears
that fountained forth and never seemed to end.
Sixteen years round each revolving moon
from hearth and home I pick up slightest sound,
ears prick, eyes bright, in sight I'm always found
to hold my ground, though often play buffoon.
Sixteen years, come rain or shine, we walk
twice, sometimes thrice a day, I sense each smell
around the house, tell friends from rascals well,
and after dinner hear the table talk.

one day at school, Korea (1801)
I don’t like school, Sir
most venerable teacher;
and though you are kind, Sir
and all my classmates too
and you all help me study and learn
like you make me know
the first five characters in the alphabet
but the moment I am out of school
all I can remember
are the rice-cakes and sweets and the dumplings my mother makes
and true, Sir
most venerable teacher
you teach me the numbers
and I can count from 1 to 5
when I am in class
but when I’m out
I love the toys my father brings
and I play with the wooden toy soldiers
and I love the ducks and the clay horses;

Romance and Her Eternal Dream.
Skies of azure have faded in the wake of a crimson shade.
The horizon melts within a state of conversion with the
Limits of a cloudless realm. The stars are turning in their
Constellations, the stars are shining without reservation.
Preserving the beauty of a blanket and cloudless realm.
Here I am, here I remain as ever unsteady at the helm,
As Poseidon whips the waves into a fury of eternal depth.
The void awaits, blissful slumbers within the abyss are calling,
Tempting us to fall, Love leads us towards the strength of our
Unknowing, into the river of our flowing we are to step,
Unafraid into the stream of Romance and her eternal dream.
Only clouds of cotton candy innocence are to roam here,
Only tears of joy are to fall and never those of fear and though
Through the years we may grow tired and we may grow weary
Of constantly trying to ascertain a truth beyond compare
We are to appreciate the fact that we are here
We are to appreciate the fact that we were there to make the
Mistakes we now regret, those same mistakes we must never
Forget if we hope to ever learn from past confusion.
Seek your fusion with the Mind at Large, seek your unison

My Defenses Are Down
FRANK BUTLER:
I've had my way with so many girls
An' was lots of fun.
My scheme was to know many girls
To keep me safe from one
I find it can be done.
My defenses are down
She's broken my resistance
And I don't know where I am
I went into the fight like a lion
But I came out like a lamb.
My defenses are down
She's got me where she wants me
And I can't escape no how
I could speak to my heart when it wakened
But my heart won't listen now.
Like a toothless, clawless tiger,
Like an organ-grinder's bear,
Like a knight without his armor,
Like Samson without his hair.

Toothless Floozies
Toothless floozies,
Take bites on bones
They know should be licked.
Not gnawed on by gums.
No matter how delicious,
These attempts are remembered.
