The Doom Of A City Part Ii: The City
I
A near the dying of that royal day
Those amber-vested hills began to swerve;
And soon a lofty Pharos, gleaming white
Upon its isle set darkly in the light,
Beckoned us onward to the spacious bay
Encompassed broadly by their noble curve.
And so at length we entered it; and faced
The thin dark lines of countless masts, all traced
Upon the saddest sunset ever seen -
Spread out like an interminable waste
Of red and saffron sand, devoured by slow
Persistent fire; beneath whose desolate glow
A City lay, thick-zoned with solemn green
Of foliage massed upon the steeps around.
Between those mast-lines flamed the crystal fires
Of multitudinous windows; and on high
Grand marble palaces and temples, crowned
>With golden domes and radiant towers and spires,
Stood all entranced beneath that desert sky,

In Toxic Revelation
we…weirdly…direly
entertain in vain over the terrain
celebrating…debating…liberating
accosting… exhausting…loss of sanity
blush with a brush…rush to flush
agonize, tranquilize…eulogize

His Head
They’ll carry his head
His head will shine
On ravaging horses
Like a centaur of myths
He made us encase himself
Sculptors manage this
In flowering and planting
His head will shine
His skull is flowering with laughter
The eye-sockets weirdly stare

If you think about Shakespeare, you remember Richard III and Macbeth before you remember Ferdinand, whose role is just to fall in love and be a bit of a wimp. I love the baddies. More important, though, is making the baddies somehow, weirdly, understood.

The Standpoint
My actions are the reactions
of the measures you dispense
The response is in fashion mirroring
and reflected truly thence
It's very easy to be judgmental
and arguably simply censure
When your standing is questionable
with logic weirdly obscure
The past were so much simpler
had unabated frolicking abound
The ravages of the time took their toll
all lost was never to be found

Sunspot Birth Surrealism
starbursts spike creativity
slay us at irregular intervals
solar radiation sunspots
activity maximum wreaks
havoc in neural pathways
frying emotive overloads
adrenaline rush surge crazy
cannot should not be denied
time to paint surreal frescoes
familiar pattern life slices
distorted disturbing weirdly
dream objects experiences
unfamiliar is surrealism depicted
echoes expunged energy images
solar maximum emotive urgency
