Mounting Shores

It is at such moments all times blend
and tomorrow and yesterday stand
divided on a faded boundary
a frontier of a lost rotation
This lost frontier of identity calls out to me
Like a far sailing boat waves to the lost soul
on the banks of a disappearing eternity painted by a river.

In my canvas I have portraits of diverse lands
When I sit in loneliness I am perturbed
by too much company of myself
Silence becomes louder voice and I seek desperately
for an unending hideout
from this sky limit vastness
of a unexpressed

I had never prepared for the passage of time
So this moment when I find myself
No longer young as my last song
I stand with nothingness of words
And in the silence of music
I gaze into your eyes with hopes
of seeing the rise of a morning.
Have you crossed the night?
