Winter's Reflection

Years too end as you arrive
Every soul on the earth
For survival, they strive.

All they need is a little warmth,
All you give is cold dry air,
Taking away a whole sunrays share.

All they own is a holed one
Peeping through it, yet they smile
like a battle they have just won

Too cosy cuddly and furry a quilt
Beating on you, it gives warmth enough to rest a while
still they remain drowned in an unknown guilt

wrapped in you as a painted image
To see and feel you bring a change
To save a memory all we manage
