The pain never goes away
The pain of abuse
Has never gone away for me.
It has stayed with me everyday.
I may as well still be
Being attacked.
For my soul is attacked
Every day from the pain
That I do feel.
My soul is scared
My heart a heavy sack.
My mind a mess of a mess
