Snow White
Innocence in a sad world,
A white ribbon in a dark cloud of hard bitter red,
White ribbon finding a purpose to keep shining,
Alone and struggling she may not seem,
But that song you hear she's sure not singing,
Friends or foes we sure not know betray her
With a bite of juicy red, pain stains her chest,
She falls down slowly ‘til she's dead.
But maybe when you think all hopes lost,
A wonderful glimmer of hope,
Kisses that poison from her lips,
lets her save what's left of her innocence.
Keeps the red from coming in,
Shows she loved and never has to see
That scarlet hate ever again.
