Still There
Across the plains and grassy fields
Under skies of blue
The memories will rest forever
Eternally residing there
Memories of battles fought
Memories of love and lives
Will always be there
Etched into what remains
Ruins and pondered mysteries lie still
Like words written long ago
Silent whispers echo throughout the ages
Ungulating so thin
Its almost mere nothingness
But it is there
Even when we are long gone
What we did will still be there
