The Night I Thought I'd Lost you
Don’t
remember
when, but
where, I do.
Nor the
reazon
why, but
on what,
I know
too.
That
distant
Copenhagen
Mushroom
Night
I thought
I’d lost you.
My eyes
searched in vain
for your’s
through the
throbbing
pulzating
haze for
what felt like
endless eons
(but was probably less)
When I did
finally
find
YOU
I fell on my knees
and kissed
your hands.
You thought I was
silly.
As you
said you’d never
leave me,
your eyes shone
and for a while
we both believed
that
what you said
was true.
