Greed...
I ponder the greed of those I nurture with my gifts,
These thoughts disturb me but I cannot allow it to unmake me,
I shall not allow it to infect the flesh that you dine upon,
Willingly I shall part with all that I have for you,
And when you have taken all that I can give,
Once you have raped me for the last time,
After you have consumed every eye and every limb,
When I am reduced to a complete nothingness,
And you have taken everything I shall wonder,
Why did I allow you to rob me of my being?
And I shall answer... Because I am giver...
I am Mother Earth...
