Greed Counts Currency
Greed counts currency
While sheer Poverty cries,
With mocking mirth and glee
And a twinkling of the eye.
Greed counts currency
While a Nation slowly dies
Calloused Shame is empty
As Fear closed Freedom's eyes.
Greed counts currency
As in Anger a people cry
The Lust for Power may see
Them give Revolution a try.
