Monster Story

A blind eye to an obvious wrong
A deaf ear to a righteous plea,
Confused affection though it's strong-
A wayward love, it cannot see.

Withhold the rod to correct
A child in tolerance is set,
It breeds abuse with neglect
And so discipline, it will forget.

The child so bred when he grows
Crooked, warped in character
Without the truths that he should know
He ends up as a social monster.
