Reborn
Fifteen years
Trying to put
Shattered pieces back
Daily, such a draining chore
There was no glue for it
To be done perfectly
Even with care
I was tired.
Perhaps the numbness
From repeated breaking
Woke me up
From the dream
Awake enough
To walk away
Picking up my pieces
So I can go on
Living
Again!
