Time is a Gift
Time is a gift that keeps ticking away
And like a flower, it will never stay
It is the leaf that falls and decays
A record of the song you used to play.
The end of a story that has been told
Like the sunset of day as night unfolds
Before long you find that you are old
For Time is like sand you cannot hold.
