To All Friends
Good friends who are faithful, they say
Are life's golden nuggets in our journey
We get to meet them as we go our the way
In this our pilgrimage that is temporary.
Good friends lift us when we are down
Give their hand to hold, in sad times, comfort
Like sunshine in dark days, a blessing to be around
They give us advice, for all that it's worth.
Good friends can be trusted to support and correct
They will never leave when we make mistakes
And so for all friends, they deserve respect
The bond we hold together, even Time cannot break.
