Silence Listens

Voices like violence,
Attack this silence,
Should be no push or shove,
For this silence is love,
No utterance to be spoken,
This silence never to be broken.

The Sun, through windows, does seep,
I feel your rising breath, so deep,
All noise does fade and retreat,
Except the sound of your heartbeat,
Which to me, is a mellow melody,
Constantly humming in harmony,
Embracing me in love’s emanation,
Giving a warm spine tingling elation,
I’m entranced by love supreme,
Mesmerised by what I’ve seen.

Words become so very
Sharp and unnecessary,
Seemingly causing many harms,
With love cradled in my arms,
Remain quiescent until tomorrow,
So may there be no more sorrow.

(If I am a star then you are
the heavens in which I float!)
