A Memory
I thought of you today
I guess my memory of you
Hasn't quite waded away
I always knew you would have to go
For you were bound for something better
But I keep you around like an old sweater
When I need warmth in my life's stormy weather
To wrap me up and keep me warm
That way I can do no harm
To you or to me
So just a memory
You must always be
