Remembering The Days
As I sit here
Remembering the days
That have now faded into memories
Wondering if I had known
What was ahead
Would I have held on
A little longer to what
I had
For looking back
I see that what I once had
Is far greater than
Anything I have now
Oh if only we could go back
Even for a day
Maybe the pain of today
Would go away
