The Elusive Hummingbird
Who are these dynamic little birds we love,
the ones that dart here and there?
They buzz. They zoom with wings so fast
and then suspend in mid-air.
Colorful creatures, so tiny and free
are exquisite with colors aflame.
They seem to pause and defy gravity
darting in and out like a game.
They capture the mysteries within a flower
then leave without a word.
Be quick with your eyes if you wish to see
the elusive humming bird.
