Countdown To Surgery: A Prayer
In my dark hours of doubt
and dark moments of fear,
I beseech you, dear Lord,
to grant me courage to be.
In my tears of pain
and sighs of relief
I ask you, Lord,
to hold me by your hand
and let me see your face.
Abide in me
in this glooming sea of darkness
And let me swim
into your shore of hope and peace.
