Transformations
To wake up with a tear on your pillow,
To sleep with a smile on your face,
The nights torture you,
With endless memories of the past,
The days when love was love,
The days she used to hold you,
The days when she had not changed
To remember the days you were everything,
To recall the days you were something,
Seeing your subtile transformation,
To see yourself in a lonely place,
From something to nothing,
From somebody to someone
Feeling the departure of love,
Seeing the petal fall off the rose,
The thorns striking you deeply,
The heart bleeds but dries,
The transformations
To see a lover opening the door,
To see her pack her bags,
To see her waving goodbye,
Your heart wonders, transformations
To hear her voice in the gardens,
To see her in the mirror,
To feel her in your solitude,
Wondering why she transformed,
From a lover to a foe,
From a friend to an enemy,
She has gone.
