Can This Be Love?
There is something in the way
that you look at me,
something in the way
that your eyes sometimes
shift away and back to mine again.
There is something
tn the inter-textual things
that is hidden between your words
when feelings are betrayed
in the subtle way that you let
the stresses fall
and there is nothing obscure
or superficial in the way
that you speak with me.
A sudden joy fills my heart
when I hear your voice,
when I look at you
as if the hidden meanings
have an own distinct reality.
