Rain Cycleish
as thee splashes innocently, cadence steady, blue
prepare you do, this morning hour
journey don't know where; but deep within....
knowledge of eons guided
screaming, it vibrates
rising heat and beckoning, the great one shows himself,
reluctantly, strength demonstrated
with heroic acceptance;
thy simply goes forth
the eagle suspended, how he must feel your passage,
what token goes exchanged
grateful he, nothing from you want
enduring love is all he gives
unwittingly you provide:
shadow formed, an awning for all
save thy strength friend, not all can be quenched
spread too thin my lord; you bare to much!
example for us all
away! where to my love
come back
over mountains; further!
homeward bound? when?
soon, soothe this child you do;
follow the ancient roads
for they will lead thee to what heart desires
your sacrifice; humbling
cry should i, cry, cry, cry
for again and again
forced: yet still; you do this for Us
truly a gift to us all
