Gone were the days
Gone were the days of high standard
National sentiments only to look forward
Not a word to be said in dishonor
It was love for motherland and called for
Now no more nations but only ration
Cast, creed and religion only equation
More crowds and more weight
Individual is taken to new height
No qualification but only criteria
The hatred and intolerance prevail like bacteria
Land grabbers, mafias and dishonest rule
Public suffer and voice to ruffle
This present day of context
Hereditary rule is only best
Thousands of new rulers in form of misters
They prove to be known as dishonest and sinister
At the time of taking oath or as beginner
They were just an ordinary man or commoner
The fortune start swinging in no time or sooner
It serves as lucrative business for the opener
Money start changing hand
Known enemies or adversaries become friends
All find prosperous future at the end
Gather as much as you can with new trend
Deny the hand and offer argument
Avoid public appearance and offer no comment
Law will take its own course and punish the guilty
The skillful show with mastery, oratory and ability
The rulers are know criminals now
The public still loves them and no one knows how?
What is going to be fate for coming generation?
No one comes forward with startling revelations?
I may not weep along with others
I shall blame the self and bother
What can be fault on my part?
I have known politics as an art
Only faces change but not the scene
Same people come with new theme and seen
Indulging in same practice with lot more indemnity
It goes on with same intensity and continuity
