Struggle (Life Poem)
I know we struggle to survive, every day,
When I see us, with our unending problems,
That all add together, in minutes and hours,
The sum our life, in short and long fragments.
I know we struggle to survive, every day,
In this battle of life, more than we should
Have to. This I know makes us better than
The animals whose sole aspiration is dinner.
