Daybreak

An airy morning
One early morning
Something's different
Nothing's new
All's still wet
My hair, my sand, my face
My heart, my floor, my life
But look up
The sun's hiding
But its rays' glimmering
Father time is angry
So he kicks his sun out
Just then and only then
Do time and chance favour me
A wet morning
Soaked in the dew and all its glory
Blinded by the sun and all its story
Hands stretched out in utopia
I let go of my phobia
For once I breathe and all is clean
For once I look and tears don't fall
I look behind, the tunnel's gone
I look at me, the wounds are healed
I look ahead, I see me born in day
Holding to hope
Hoping to life
Living to live
A good morning
I turn in bed so soft and succulent
I feel something so soft and human
My lids shake and open slowly
Eyes wide open
Iris to iris
Arms wide open
I lay in peace in the arms
Of the love of my life.
