Cents
Pennies from heaven
Was a song long ago
We see them in streets
In left over trash
They're kicked to the curb
One cent only cash
The pennie saved
And the pennie earned
Is weathered and beaten
And rather sunburned
Because many a soul
Has not the worth
To bend over
And give it new birth
So flip it over
And see if it's wheat
If not save it
For your piggy to eat.
