Big Shoes
Do you believe in love?
These are the big shoes
to fill.
Focus and determination
Leaves you securely buckled.
Tender, loving care
appreciates- to the heel.
Courage loves befittingly.
When there is nothing left
With humble vigil
Footsteps can be felt.
Slowly yet steadily
Eyes once closed, open
Unforgettable peace, descends
Deepest doubts held, lay defeated
