Hiding Behind Pain
To wonder is to dream,
of all the possibilities,
just look at them all,
waiting for you.
But you just close your eyes,
without a care,
you don't even see,
who's standing there.
You say you have no hope,
no strength or truth,
but my dear,
it's all within you.
You have a choice,
to let the truth burn,
but instead you say,
'Maybe on my next turn.'
If you keep saying that,
then where will you go,
where will your life take you,
what will you know?
Life is full of chances,
that are for you to take,
no more hiding behind pain,
this life is yours to take.
