As Comfortable In Your Pity As Possible
You are not going to find correctness in these streets.
Witness the trash thrown upon them.
You might find validation for your deluted philosophies.
And a wish to maintain your pride,
On the back of what you perceived to be
A way of life you will never see again.
Or has been reflected...
In distant or recent memory!
Although,
Maintaining a romance with 'what ifs'
Is extremely popular.
If I were you...
And I am not!
I want 'that' to be agreed upon.
However...
IF I were you.
I would look around and realize,
Your pity party has had some gate crashers.
And overflows from the rim,
With indecision that has been at the brim.
Unbalanced.
If I were you...
And I am not!
I want that to be agreed upon!
I wouldn't even announce you were leaving.
Stop weeping!
I'd just get up and go!
Only weepers are missed.
You've hosted these sorrows for too long.
You need a fresh outlook.
And quick!
If I were you...
And I am not!
I want that to be agreed upon!
I would not hestitate doing it immediately.
Because some folks will embrace you,
To believe you can not leave.
And want you to feel as comfortable in your pity,
As possible!
And not one empathizer to come to your aid.
To guide you away from this mess!
Your agonies are loved.
Trust me.
More than you can fathom!
