Because Of My Own Stubbornness
Why did I not pay any attention?
I have lost everything,
Because of my own stubbornness.
'Well,
You said it yourself.
Because of your stubbornness,
You have lost everything.
But you have gained a wisdom,
In the knowing that you must rid yourself...
From that stubbornness.'
Yeah.
Even if I did that...
What I had will never return.
'I once acquired an abundance of ignorance myself.
I thought I couldn't live without it until it was gone.
And when I sought understanding for my failures?
Guess what? '
What?
'My stubbornness was in the center of all of it!
And when I began to comprehend that...
It didn't matter what 'things' I had to impress others.
And that is the only reason why I acquired 'things'.
My stubbornness made me believe I needed to impress.
You will be fine!
Trust me.'
What happened to your ego?
What happened to that?
'When my stubbornness got up and left,
I realize it was connected to my ego.
There is nothing like seeing,
How shallow and limited one can be.
You will be fine!
Trust me.'
