Cupid's Blessing
My last hope
in this sad life
he is my other half.
Traveling long this
dreary road
I stumbled on
his path.
A greater love
or loyalty true
never have I known.
And in his loving shadow
I stand here all alone.
But one sweet day
the sun will shine
and I will stand
with thee.
And on that day
our love takes flight
and it will set us free.
