Immanuel
It takes a thousand years to wake
But wake we must for heavens sake
To swim against the tide
Of mortal human thought
In Thee oh God we shall abide
And find the Truth we've sought
To live above the constant woes
Of worldly matters here
And to our waiting hearts revealed
There's nothing left to fear
Immanuel or God With Us
Our God was always near
Just beyond this temporal dream
Rejoicing we shall find
