Loving Prayer for The Children
Beautiful song,
chant of life
The boy someday
a husband
The girl someday
a wife
And on this day
we hear
The words of
tradition
so dear
Thus begins the journey
in God's most perfect love.
We bow our heads and pray
for His blessings from above.
And in this sacred moment
we extend a loving hand
for the girl becomes a woman
and the boy becomes a man.
